Need a break from feeding the kids all day every day? 54th Street’s newly renovated patio is perfect for a family fun night with pickleball courts, yard games and kid-friendly fare. Free photos with Mirabelle and Luisa from 7:45-8:45 p.m. Outdoor Movies in the Park will kickoff with Encanto and special guest appearances from This Princess Life. Mom tip: let the kids wear jammies, and they’ll be ready for bed! Movies are shown every third Friday, June – September, starting at dusk, around 8:45 p.m. Push the summer bedtime a little later and catch new hits and old classics in North Park (greenspace across from Dillards). Summer concerts are most Fridays and Saturdays from 6:30 p.m. Parents can sit back and enjoy the music while the kids get the wiggles out on the Central Park playground. Skip cooking on Fridays, and head to the Hereford House tent for burgers and brews during the concert. If you’re looking for something to do on weekend evenings, Zona Rosa has a great variety of bands lined up all summer long. Nothing says summertime like live music in an outdoor setting.
